Please welcome Lindsay Hergert to the Cass County Extension Office-Family Community Health in Cass County. Lindsey started with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office on June 1, 2023, training with the Titus County Family and Community Health Agent. Lindsey officially started with Cass County on July 1, 2023. Lindsay was a 7th grade science teacher for the past year at Atlanta Middle School. Prior to that she was a Science Teacher at Cathedral Catholic High School for 7 years, substitute teacher at San Diego and Poway Unified School District for 4 months, Science teacher for Tombstone High School for 1 year, student teacher at Buena High School 3 months, and other teaching jobs in AZ. Lindsay’s educational background includes a B. S. in Interior Design from Texas Tech University, a M.S. in Exercise Science: Wellness & Fitness from California University of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from University of Arizona.
